Joy Quezada is a self-taught mixed media artist known best for her photorealism. Born in Queretaro Mexico, Joy moved to the Charleston WV ,where her mother was born and raised ,with her family at the age of 5. Her father’s career later transferred her family to the Shenandoah Valley where she resides today. Her formative years were filled with outdoor adventures and a love for animals which contributed to Joy’s early works including landscape, pet portraits and local wildlife. Growing up Joy explored many different mediums and subjects including acrylic, watercolor and graphite.
